and for them to say that obama is a socialist........ well i guess we can add Sarah Palin to that list as well b/c isnt it that what she is doing in alaska is spreading the wealth taking money away from the oil rigs and spreading it to the people in alaska(i maybe wrong but thats what i heard)

actually, its not spreading the wealth.

each state in the union has some sort of natural resource.

alaska (and texas) happens to be oil.  they pump and refine said oil and distribute it accros the country, the tax revenue from said resources gets funded back into the state.

for alaska, seeing as how its a frozen shitpile, needs some incentive to bring people up there to work their ass off on oil wells in the frozen tundra. hence the no property tax up there.
for texas, thats why we have no state income tax.

its not wealth redistribution, its using the income from resources in that state, FOR THAT STATE.


i dont want my taxes raised to pay from someone who cant do shit for themselves.  if i wanted that, i go have a fucking kid.

She abused her power as Governer to fire her ex-brother in law, oh, and what about her being found guilty on that other thing, you all know what I speak off.And what about charging the state to fly her kids on official business at the tax payers exspense, pretty exspensive....I say she been spreading the wealth her self.

I'm a oilfield worker so let me explain to you how it works. The state just like the federal government do offshore, lease out lots to the oil companies.....hence the state dont have a fucking thing to do with distribution...therefore they build pipelines to distribute the oil where they want it to go, not the state, they pay come from the lease and other governmental agencies that makes sure that the oil companies stay in compliance. That is how it works!

if obama had the stones NOT to promise everything in the world with no hope of delivering, i might be voting for him, BUT he is saying anything and everything to get elected.

if we pulled out of iraq TODAY, AND took back ALL of the stimuluses that have been funded and are onthe drawing board.   WE MIGHT have enought to pay the INTEREST on the entitlement obligations debt that has accumulated over the years. i.e (medicare,social security, welfare) this next fiscal year.

we are overspent and overdrawn in the federal checking account, weve got the SECOND HIGHEST corporate tax rate IN THE WORLD and obamas remedy for both situations is RAISE CORPORATE TAX RATES FURTHER,  AND SPEND MORE.

glad yall voted for CHANGE guys.... thank obama when you dont get a raise or get laid off next year because your boss(small business owner) or employer(corporation) cant afford you because of the fat tax bill hell have to fork over at the end of the quarter.
