My stang gave up on me today, the car went in theft mode. The theft light flashed every time I turned the ignition. After towing the car home and rechecking all the fuses again, it turned out the ECM fuse was blown and the starter relay. I replaced the ECM fuse and blew as soon as I turned the ignition. After checking all the positive cables and negative cables I traced the wiring under the car and found my o2 sensors wiring fried on my exhaust causing a short. So now it is running again after 230. dollars!( towing, parts, day of work)  :'(  Undecided

My moms truck was doing the same when I replaced the starter and it ended up being a hot wire from the starter touching the block.

Got tired of having it short so i got some extensions. Also the car started overheating suddenly, we went to look at the Mach1 for sale at a carlot and the car overheated all of the sudden, put water drove back home and as soon as I turned the engine off the radiator spilled all the water again. I had replaced the radiator cap a month ago and I put the old one back on and drove it for awhile and it didn't do it again. I think it was mad cause i was going to see how much they would give me for tradein. Or it just needs a rest.  Undecided
