Anyone know why my computer has no sound? We had to clean out the computer cause of a virus, know it does not have any sound. I tried all the control panel buttons, device manager, and still nothing, anyone know what might be wrong?

You have to re-install the driver for the sound card
XP
got to control panel / system / device manager / find the sound card and install driver
you may have to down load it from manufacturer
