Two scenarios.


Scenario 1:   She signed the lease, someone forged her signature to be off the lease. That is a criminal act and can be prosecuted. This will win a default judgment should she take him to small claims court.

Scenario 2: She and Kevin paid for a piece of property. Kevin is in jail (apparently) She has proof of purchase. She calls the police and claims it stolen. (corey is holding and won't let her retrieve it.) She tell police where it is being held. Police search premises, match up serial numbers to reciept on file at electronic store.  Corey goes to jail for possessing stolen property.
