Ok, so today i took my car to a local tint shop to have the windows tinted and have a few vinyls put on. GT hood stripe, blackout panel vinyl, and roush rear valence vinyl. The windows look great, along with the roush valence and GT hood stripe. Heres the shitty part, the blackout panel area. I took a look at it and apparantly it wasnt pre cut completely, there and nice perrrty razorblade cuts on the vinyl, no big deal, but he cut them ON my car. So now i have nice razorblade slices in my cars paint, yay, AND lets not forget the best part. Earlier this night i went to put the Ford Emblem back on aaand he has the oval off by about a full inch, so the emblem is halfway on vinyl halfway on paint, and about an inch of paint is showing. It looks like shit. It needs re- done without a doubt, but idk the best method to approach this. Info please, what would you do? Etc.

The money back is probably like 20$, the scratches are my main conern, and hes a tint shop, so he doesnt do detailing. I think i pretty much got the shaft of this deal. Im prbly gunna get him to take it off so i can buy the honeycomb blackout so the scratches wont show. The fact that he fucked up doesnt irritate me that much, but the fact that he fucked up, and scratched my paint, really sets me off.

def go back and address him with your concerns.  He should back up his work and fix what he did or make it right.

Doesnt matter if it was a $20 job or a $5k job.  He messed it up, I'd start by speaking with him about his work.  Take lots of pictures and don't try to fix it yourself.

that way if you have to take him to civil court you have proof of what he did.  And civil court is cheap and you don't need a lawyer.

I think what I'm gunna do is just cut off the nubs on the ford emblem. It seems to be the easiest fix by far, however its still irritating because it will be off by a bit
