does anyone have a crank pulley special tool for an 02 V6??  Little disc that bolts to the inside of the pulley with a bolt going through the disc pushing against the crank pulley bolt to pull the whole harmonic balance assembly off the crank???  Need to borrow it asap if i can!!!

lol nah.  Doing a front and rear main seal on a '02 V6 for a guy.  Stupid cheap too!!!

if you go to harbor freight on beltline by the sears they sell them cheap for about 20 bucks. I let my dad borrow mine and he lives out in duncanville.

dude honestly i kno the simplicity of cars like compression an shit, installing exhaust an what not i can even do the gears, droping the trans to do the headers, but the pullies im not too sure on how to do those an if im not 100% sure on how to do somin i wont do it, im about 80% sure on doin pullies an thats on my car only an i didnt do it i had a friend who ownd a shop in denton do it for me.

well we got it figured out guys, thanks again for the help.  That pulley kit from harbor freight worked perfectly!!

Glad it worked out.  We also picked up a tap and die for the crank bolt to make sure it was clean, it was a bit bugered up when we pulled it out.  So if anyone needs a tap and die in 14 x 1.50 we have them.  Hard as hell to find, but luckily Elliot's Hardware has all kinds of shit there!!!

Sadly we did a front and rear main seal for $350!  WAY TOO CHEAP!!  But oh well, the lady needed some help on the price.
