I am looking to go forward with this setup guys, and wanted your input.  SuperSixMotorsports has this adapter that would allow me to install the M-112 Supercharger from an 03-04 Cobra on my '03 V6 Mustang.  The adaptor is $900, and I have found some superchargers for around $500.  The only downside would be that I would have to get another hood so that I could have enough clearance.  Aside from that, I think it would be worth the price.  It is a simple install, and I can get some more horsepower than what I have now.  Would you agree?  Here is a picture of what the setup would look like, just let me know what you think.  Thanks guys!

They say with this mod, that you would push about 260hp, and 330lbs of torque.

That was a badass ride man!  Thats pretty much what I want to do on mine.  Install the supercharger, get a cam, some longtubes, gears, and a good tune!  I should put down some good HP and Torque.

Anyone know how much more clearance I would need to fit the supercharger under the hood?  I know for sure I can't use my stock hood, but I really don;t know which hood to look for until I know how much clearance I would need.  Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks!!

The V6 that made History

Wow, I didn't see this thread.
yeah the Super Six design was changed from what I sent them to produce. I'm making my own now and they are a lower profile than what Super Six sells. A few customers of SSM say the 3" cowl hood won't fit over it, but with mine the 2 1/2" will fit or you can also use a stock Mach 1 hood and add a shaker (for looks only) or fill in the hole.

With a stock set up, most are seeing low 300 hp and low 400 tq at the wheels... depending on your tuner's abilities. Just enought to stay on a stock 3.8L bottom end. I'd suggest an under drive crank pulley and the stock Cobra blower pulley to start with. Most are seeing good results with that set up.

Here is a M112'd V6 with the Mach 1 hood on it to give you an idea:

Wow, I had forgotten about this thread.
Not sure if he did it or not.

But because everyone loves a good video, here's the dyno video of Rico's silver V6 Mach 1 look-a-like:

He had a clogged cat and Flowmasters on. Sounds a lot better with the new high flow cats and a Bassani set up now.
