"you get what you pay for"....... is not always true
the person who preps your ride might be a respectable worker who doesn't cut corners
what color are you looking into getting? shit the color can either mask or magnify any flaws in the finished job

Black is the worst color to spray if you are gona go with black i would pay a lil mor efor your paint job or at least get a good prep. If he does a shitty prep it could start to peel off in less than a couple months. Black you are gonna see every flaw in the body and every buff mark.

spend the extra money and have someone else prep it for you other than maaco, but i know when my cousin turned 16 her dad prepped the car before taking it to maaco and then they painted it and it turned out prety decent...of course not the best paint job in the world but it still looked good and today after 3yrs its still fine

4 year warranty included

I had maaco paint the hood of my infiniti when i had it. They matched the paint very well considering the fact that the color was rare (pewter).
They did it for about $400 and i had it back in 2 days
Only thing is they didnt do a good job buffing it. It had those iittle paint spots on it near the front. I took it back and the fixed it for me.
I wouldnt go to them to paint the whole car unless money is an issue The best paint quiality they have runs about 1500 to do the whole car (which is what i goton my hood) and chances are you'll be takin it back to then to redo it.

Even for $1500 that is dirt cheap. Their colors NEVER match fully and you can see the prep in the paint work - I mean the lack of prep.  Shit, I charge about $4000 for a complete paint job but that is with a lifetime warranty. And our color matching is always  spot on.....

When you see an ad for a complete paint job for $399 or whatever the fuck Maaco charges - that should be a sign that something is wrong.... NO ONE can paint a car for that.
