well what ever I have done almost all the work to my car and according to Vince moments ago you have never beat him at the track and yes my brother drives because I have put a 5 second car in a wall and in all honesty have not been able to get on the track since then. And it has been a long time since you have seen the 06 run and Alex and others have seen it put seven second passes down the track. the only thing I have not done to my car has been gears and the clutch and tuning everything elses I have been envolved in or have done. I NEVER SAID I RAN THOSE TIMES I SAID THE CAR DID BUT HEY IF YOU WOULD LIKE I WILL TRY TO GET MYSELF TO START GOING BACK DOWN THE TRACK AND SEE WHAT I CAN DO

on a 5.0 u can reuse copper headgaskets but not sure what type u had. coppers are aftermarket i sure hope thats what u had, if they werent good after market that sucks u could almost gurantee issues but like u said its what u could afford.

throw some studs on it while its apart!

+1 on the subject but yall didnt offer to pay for the head gaskets an i was strap'd big time for cash at the time an didnt take Noah up on his recommendation to buy new engine gaskets, DM didnt re-use the old ones the machine shop they sent it too did, any further questions that i should answer cuz someone wanted to stock my car an ask everyone an anyone at the shop that its at an then posting it on a forum??.....yall wannna kno my financial status??? how about my health, dental, an vision benefits??? anyone??? yal sure?? quick sombody google my name, or my sign even better!

lol it was 700 for a brand engine gasket kit, i jus paid the loan out an the car had already been built before i got my 1st check so i goin on a thread, an i dont like to ask for help, more so for money, so i bit the bullet an went on a hope that nothing would happen then they hit the dyno, on the 3rd pass im at 365, then they perfect the air an fuel ratios an then! 270.........wtf! lol

Damn that sucks!. Woulda shoulda coulda, but next time just use the Ford headgaskets, they are good and cheap, they hold well on the cobras with alot of boost just the same as alot of compression or even more.
