So everytime I turn on the lights or hit the brakes it just goes crazy and you can't do anything about it like you turn the truck completely off and it'll still be going nuts like flashing and running through the entire dial then it will stop and just not work... So I'm thinking its the wiring idk anyone have any ideas?

It's stock on an 87 suburban. It was working fine and it would always dim to where you could barely see it driving with the light on it just started doing all of this.

bad grounds would cause noise and shorts.

from what i gathered, it's getting good constant power, but it's just going crazy. if this is so, then it might just need to be replaced.

well sure, but why would you want it hooked up to your amp? i mean, that's kind of pointless.

well, it's not like you can just take the line outs @ the amp and plug them into the speaker. because if what you're talking about is what i think it is, then it's an all treble speaker and if you run it off the amp, then it's just going to sound like complete asshole. unless you're going to want it under the hood so you can use your CB as a loudspeaker then it should just run off the CB if i'm right.

you should be able to, unless it's not a loudspeaker that is meant for a car.

When I Press The Cd Eject Button It Makes Noises Like It's Tryin To Do Sumthin
I Want To Just Get It Fixed...But Is It Even Worth It?

some extended needlenose pliers might do the trick. the only kicker is that if the cd is "set" then there is no way to get it out without tearing out the stock radio and taking it apart. but again, the needlenose thing might work if you press the eject and you and "unset" the cd.

It Plays the cd inside it just fine. My girl was listening to it when i took her home. Doesnt skip or anything, which is why i kinda want to just get it fixed instead of replacin it.
Also the 2000 mustangs have the raido/tape player and the cd player separated.
Might look kinda funny if i bought a new flashy cd player with a stock tape player on top.
Any ideas?

yeah, my 94 has the same thing. and you wouldn't put it in the spot of the CD player, you'd put it in the spot of the radio/cassette.
the CD player can be easily removed and ejected manually.

where are you at?

yeah, to install a new unit, there is no reason to remove the cd player unless you want to. it runs off its own hot wire and everything.

if you want to get bad ass with a system, it would be ideal to put an EQ there.

since you're in Desoto, i could probably help you out. i'm over here in midlothian.
