they are only allowed 200 cars in the test and tune and you have to register to run your car that may be why he says its a little two late. this is from their website.

2. If you are going to participate in the show, test 'n tune track time, or both... we ask that you pre register now to save money and the hassle of doing it at the track. There are plenty of spots for SHOW ONLY participants, however, we are limited to only 200 cars for the test 'n tune track time. This track time will include time trial style passes and grudge match racing. Reserve your spot now!
