I been breaking my head on wat to do first throwing a D1sc on 10 pounds hope to run mid 11's. In the other hand build the block first and spray then get the blower wat yall think.

I say build the block and S/C then spray... I've built the block on mine and then did spray, but haven't put the S/C on yet (when I actually do get one)

If you've got the ability to go the built route I would always go that first.

i'd say spray your current block... you seem like you take care of the engine... so should be ok with a 100~150 shot

then down the line... boo$t it on a built engine

I leaning on boosting it im a build a timing bomb  Grin for now im getting a electric water pump and upper & lower control arms.

Boost it with a conservitive tune you can do that with a D1 and your motor should hold together fine.
