Ok so I was bored a few weeks ago and took the axle back off my car. Aside from the solid 50 pound weight loss there what a noticible difference in power and my car now barks up to 4th gear with 255wide NT450 Tires. If you have a tuner and know how to strategy tune.. I sugest you just take the damn mufflers off and if you like it as much as I do get a shop to professionaly add a pair of hangers to the cat back pipes because when you hit bumps at moderate speed you will hear the exhaust rattle. I hope this helps somebody.  evil

yes the manifolds are stock, the stock cats are still in place, factory Hpipe and the pipes that go up and over the rear axle or the cat-back? remain. the only thing i did was take the mufflers off and a few weeks later dallas mustang gave me a new strategy tune for it. soon bbk or kooks long tube headers with cated xpipe will be added

btw.. i wouldnt try removing mufflers if your running a o/r pipe with no cats.. the engine does need some back presure and if you do you might experience a loss of horsepower and ultimately hurt over all performance and potentialy your engine depending on other mods.
