S197 TECH!!!!!!!!!!!

honestly wouldn't it be better to call and get the numbers. but if you already answered you own question........

nothing wrong with bbk. I picked the bbk over the jlt. Personal preference.

woot! bbk rocks.. i know my stang fetchs way harder over stock with the bbk plus i spent the extra bred on the pullies too.. makes up for it ya know Wink
i could call and get the numbers but it would have to be saleen direct and i dont wana do that until i have the money.. i have found similar cam specs but they are "turbo" cams.. i know about turbo cams but i dont know if putting one on a 3v will work with a regular n/a setup. if it does that would be great as per i would love a 350-400rwhp on a built engine and then add turbo instead of nitrous. 10's- high 9's is where ill be happy Smiley

bbk does rule. I asked the guys that know the s197s best on a different forum. They know their stuff and no bs.

contact the guys at bamachips.com.. They have the best knowlegde about our "auto" s197s. They have made my car run like a champ with just the few mods I have. They are the ones that I only let tune my car.

ok ok its a pretty long list

saleen did go out of business but I guess they are selling the rest of the stuff or someone else bought the company.

atleast they are going to warranty their products.

they didnt go out of business, he sold the company and then started up another one.
turbo cams or blower cams will work on a n/a set-up. that's the type of cams i want to go with in case i change my mind later on and put a blower on my 2v.

hey man wasnt really trying to dog on you I was just trying to tell you I thought you would pick up a little more with a different intake on our cars. BBK is not junk I just find it to restrictive for our motors. Sorry you felt that way. Also at American muscle they are the cheaper of the two cai by 80 dollars. She may be right on her six cylinder but on s197 forums.com they prefer the jlt or C&L racer intake. I am not knocking bbk I just got BBK long tubes today to install. Hoping it will help my car get in to the sevens. Im not sure on the cams but Ill do some asking around. She is right about bama chips knowing their shit on autos though.

well i know that the jlt is dyno king and cheaper but when i bought my intake it being my first mod i didnt have the money for a tuner and the bbk was suppost to be a tunerless intake system which was wrong by the way.
