See the thing is 4cyc mustang with a turbo some bolt-ons will run an easy 12.0-13.0 1/4 mile my dads friend that works wit him has one that thing is a beast. He ran it at yellow belly back in the day and it ran a 8.1 before a tune.

true but like i stated whats its power to weight ratio? and what are some bolt ons?, and what psi? with what turbo set up? slicks? lowered? all things that have to be taken into consideration, and people dont buy v8's cuz they think it'll haul ass, no thy buy v8's due to preference of the way the engine sounds and reacts and less engine wok to push more power, a stock bare bone stock cobra can with stand 700-maybe 800 whp on a stock block, you kno what you'll have to do to a 4cyc car that wieghs as much as a cobra to even match that kinda out put??? we talkin some money and some major upgrade parts, and member that 4cyc with a turbo is really not a 4cyc, depending and how big the turbo is that 4cyc could be a v8 (relativly meaning) i promise you engines are like people, there no engine that is the same, my mach 1 305hp 325tq to the crank stock will beat a 05 gt 300hp 325tq, JUST becuz of the way my engine was designed in all honesty a 2004 gt 260hp with 300tq will a 05 gt JUST becuz of the design, did you kno corvettes arent made for off the line races? you can jump a corvette off the line but like everyone who has raced one knows, once it hits that 3rd gear, YOU BETTER HAVE CROSSED THAT FINISH LINE, kevin for example has a 4cyc turbo (GARRET, G35 TURBO) not a push over turbo, and he match my whp but due to the cars engine design i beat him 2 cars from a 30 roll, and we were neck and neck from a 60 roll, BUT i didnt have my long tube headers, and everyone knos what long tube headers do at 60 mph, and kkevins car isbuilt while mine isnt. so you do the math. and im not knocking on kevins ride, i have a lot of respect for that lude.

Any kind of motor is put into a class V8,V6,V10,V12 based on how many cylinders it has in the motor.

If I put a 2.0L turbo on it is still a 4cyc.


I never argued about car design I know of plenty of bone stock cars that have tunes and will rip up a built one any day that is because it was designed like that.


I said V8's are overrated because they are by dumbass people make them that way.
