well we are stuck on 45 at 3am waiting 4 a towtruck because greg decided 2 spray and blew the intake off so we are waiting still damn tow truck  doesnt show

it is supposed to have a micro switch but I didn't install it cause I wanted full throttle control. I was spraying racing another stang on the way back, and fucking didn't pay enough attention and sprayed right below 3000rpm, when I did - it sounded like a shotgun blast next to my head. I pulled over REAL quick. It blew the hood scoop off my car and bent my hood, shattered the intake, and who knows what other damage. I'm waiting for a ride down to my shop now to see the damage.

I tell you what - that scared the living shit out of me. If that explosion for some reason would have ripped through those braided lines, I would be dead  now. That tank is stll pretty full. When it blew the hood up, it started a quick fire but blew itself out.

So ya, we were out there til 4am and the tow truck finally arrived. Took it to my shop and then Raul took me home, got home about 5am. Didn't really sleep cause my nerves are really rattled.

But I want to say a major thanks to Raul, Alex, Jesus, for stopping to help. Alex had to leave after awhile cause he had work early this morning, and Raul and Jesus stayed with me the whole time. So to you guys I say THANK YOU so very much! And especially thanks to Raul for bringing me home - damn sure glad I live 2 mins from your house.

So now I am waiting for my ride to go see the  damage. With any luck, I'll be driving again today.

Man, I know he called me and told me that and I was like OH FUCKING GREAT! thank God that you had some cable. The tow truck driver said he would take me back but couldn't do jumps on the highway.

I was going to have to take the battery out of my car and then grab a pair of cables from the shop.   

Oh, and BTW- I just found a guy on DFWstangs that has a composite plenium for $40 and lives in McKinney. Just waiting on a ride and then I'm going out there to get it.
