SO, after thinking about things, here are some of the options that I am considering.

1. Get this motor http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/pts/1140997807.html bore the block and stroke it, purchase internals from DSS or whoever, new valvesprings and rockers, and I'll rebuild the heads. (possibly have them ported),
2. Just keep as is and just rebuild it
3. Try to get a totaled cobra from an auction, like the dallas police auction or the bi-weekly auctions.

That's for all the 3 and 4 valve stuff

Now, with the current setup, I can
1. Bore my spare bloc to .030, stroke it to a 301 with forged internals
2. Keep the spare block as is and just buy the right piston rings I need.
.
If all works out on my house refi- I might just go ahead and buy this...http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/cobra03/cobra03.htm
This of course means I would need the 4 valve motor

Or I would buy this for the Mach 1 motor http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/cobra99-014v/cobra_99-014v.htm

So what are some opinions. Granted, this is all contingent on how good my house refi goes. Otherwise, I'm just gonna stroke the spare block .030 and make that one a blower motor. Use the same cams but just put this Kenne Bell on the top http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/gt96-03_2v/gt99-04_26L.htm

So what cha'll think, lol

*New 4340 Forged 3.750 stroke Crankshaft w/micro polished journals at no extra charge

yeah, you read it right, But like I said, I'm looking at a variety of options. If I buy a 3V or 4V then I have to buy the motor whole. That's why I looked at that 4V motor out of a mach. I can put a SC on top pf my mill that I have currently and lay down 450 just as is without the spray. But if the stars are alligned, then I will get that 4V and possible put a SC on that as well.

i just callled on the 4V mach motor and the guy said that he wants $3300 for it. I told him that I would take it late next week if I get the money in time. Looks to be the most promising option at this point.

have you thought about doing a 2v with those new trickflow heads? the numbers look pretty promising flow wise... and that's out of the box, no porting done... sounds like a lot of cash but i'd love to see a set on a 2v
