Yes I did... haha

I had to look it up and this was the first thing I came across. My friends are as crazy about racing as I am now. First text I got this morning was I can't wait till we go racing again. I was like oh jeez.

Have a rear end being shipped to me this week, so I might be breaking in a rear end and not racing. Need some help figuring that out, haha 3 girls and a rear end w/ gears to put in sounds like trouble...

Its either the ennis track or the same one last weekend. For sure its going to be a normal thing to see me around now, and usually with friends.

It runs alright, hopefully I get that crazy time again, with the gears installed, and get the girls out of my car. Never could get a good time because people were always riding with me

It dont run pretty good for a v6 it runs dam good an 8.55 is a hell of a time and you dont have to break in a rear end they are ready to go when you put it in. as long as the backlash is set right in the gears since you are replacing the whole thing you should be set. did you get it from factory takeoffs?

no I have to break in the gears...

got them from newtakeoff.com , they even said to take it easy for 500 miles for the gears.

LOL, I think the 8.5 was a prefect run, don't think I will get that again

thats not true about the break in I replaced mine on the mustang and went to the track the next day and you know it can run. I was an ase tech so trust me I know what im talking about. you just need to drive about fifty miles with a variation of speeds like 55 miles for 5 miles then change it to 60 miles for a few miles then a different speed.

oh and shocker she a cool chick don't be a juvenile ass know wonder you dont get any oh and FUCK the bowties. Why the fuck is a chevy fan in this crew anyways. bring your bow tie on and I will beat its ass too.

I'll take your word on it. Still going to take it easy, I heard a noise last night while I was driving around so I have one of my guys checking it out. Sounded like the fuel pump but I don't completely know, and btw I work at a auto shop, so if I'm not on the computer doing work I'm on the internet.....

btw, I don't like bow ties Wink

I got the 4.10s... It already has the 3.55's so I figured there wouldn't be too much of a change if I went to 3.73's.....

Going to have both back tires spinning now.. haha

Yea, I can hardly wait till to clean both sides.... the only down side.

You think it will give me some better times now that I'll have both wheels grabbing?

It was a pp sixxer, so it did have the panhard bar, I did lowering springs for it, I'm already feeling the ride getting rougher so I guess the suspension is next. I'm saving for a engine swap (5.4 4v) or a twin turbo. I would need a new tranny whichever way I look at it. Have to do it all or nothing. I was going to get a 100 shot but I think I'll save my money and hold off...

From what I've been researching I don't like the s/c (long list). You can use more boost for the turbo and get more out of it. IMO. The turboed sixxers that I've seen are running way better times then the s/c ones.

Thanks!

I motocrossed since I was little, never really did anything, grandfather owns a shop so I learned how to do the basic stuff. Thought it was fun changing oil and getting dirty. Wanted a mustang all through high school, you can ask Lee(the dark haired girl with me). Then got a good job, and bought one. It was only suppose to be a back and forth from college, now I only drive it on weekends. Most fun I have is learning new stuff about the car, keeps me busy.

First week I had the car I got and tune for gas mileage, then saw the performance tunes. Thats where it all went down hill. Moved back in went grandparents to keep up with my mod problem..
