Okay Im gonna make it easy. When you run a power adder you produce more heat in your engine Spark plugs get super hot becoming like Glow plugs (diesel) Hot plugs cause pre detonation prior to the actual spark
Thats why depending on power levels you want to get a colder plug I recommend for every 50hp over stock to get 1 step colder plug

What plugs y'all recommend for what I got and gap?
3.8 v6 with bbk 65mm tb cold air intake, true duals with no cats.
And I think I'm startin to get a heatin problem but idk what it could be, I took out the stock 215 thermostat and put in a 180 when I first put it in it ran colder which was great about 1/4 on the guage vs 1/2 like it was with the stock, now it's takin alot less time to go to 1/2 almost normal now unless I baby it it'll stay at 1/4

glow plugs on diesel are only to warm the chambers up on start up they have no corralation with spark plugs fyi

I know about glow plugs, my work/play truck was a 4x4 f350 7.3 twin turbo diesel with a flatbed, 4inch dual stacks that had right at 1000tq and 935hp.......I loved datin for money when I lived in ms lol

Well let's see, gas went up and it takes alot to gill a 35 gallon main tank and a 20 gallon tank I installed on the bed, and 6 speed manual and my heavy foot, it cost damn near 160 to fill up lol and when I stopped managing a hunting camp and stopped datin a billionaire daughter I lost my supply od diesel lol I would my tank up with the diesel tanker but shhhhhh don't tell lol
