One of our member got Longtubes installed on a Mach1 32v Auto / Well the guys claimed to be knowledgeable on ford, but that was not the case.

The install is actually more complicated, you have to drop the k-member disconnect radiator and AC
I recommended you take it to Lone Star Performance or Dallas Mustang

http://www.lonestarperformance.com
If you got to LSP tell them you're a member of Smokin' Performance and you'll get 10% off

I think they quoted Jose $400 on the Mach 1 so the GT should be way less around $350

Yes, they want us to get some type of ID's
They can just come to sp.com and confirm his screen name

yeah i already knew about having to drop the k member - and i've shared some personal experience about dropping off the stang at at mom/pops corner shop to get custom work done - won't ever deal with that kind of shitz again - LoneStarPeformance has done plenty of work on my 2 valve and they have never screwed me - they do great work - nice to know they offer discount to SP members. I'll see what's up - thanks for tha info

No problem

I'm going to set their banner on the main page
If they say something about not wanting to honor the discount tell them to come and check the website

I was about to ask "why not do it yourself", but damn, you gotta disconnect the A/C to put headers on? I'd be taking it somewhere too.

Yeah the line that goes to the AC Compressor doesn't flex at all so if its not disconnected it will break

you dont have to remove the ac lines on the gts   if you have a mach   yup   but not on a 2v motor

here is a step by step install instruction on it.

http://www.fnsweet.com/garage/lt_install/index.shtml

im doing mine myself    paying 300 bucks for something i can do myself in a couple hours.  without even a reacharound?Huh??   FUUUCK THAT!!
