thanks guys that was terry, poor guy it was his 1st dyno day run, and he got scared shitless hahaha but on the reals thos that rst chevy, the u-joint gave out and slung the drive shaft in all 6 of our direction if the dyno frame hadnt been there, i wouldnt and 5 other ppl wouldnt be here ethier, so sombody was watching out for us hahaha, and SLIM AND ARCHIE dyno'd the cars, TERRY prept all the cars, SLIM AND ARCHIE adjusted our SCT tuners, and RANDY (onwer of DM) said that SMOKIN PERFORMANCE is welcome at DM anytime!! and would love to work with us like this again, oh and he also said our cars put out a DAMN good power to part ratio

OMG I can not believe that I was fucking sick.  That sucks balls, I so should have been there.  I started feeling like crap Friday night, and slept almost all day Saturday. I am still recovering from feeling like crap.  Oh well, I guess $35 loss wasn't that bad. As a matter of fact, I think that I still owe DM like $275 for those hellfire piston rings. I'm surprised Justin didn't say anything to you all about it. I'm going over there Wednesday to see whats up on tuning my car. What about the gearheads option? I know someone said they know a dude ovr there and they charge $150.  My dad knows this guy who owns a NHRA race team,and they want me to bring my car  in and tune it for me. What do you think I  should do? I don't know if they are going to charge me or not.

im dissapointed b/c mike's 06 gt put out 293hp and 313ft torque and all it has is a k&n CAI and a magnaflow axle back exhaust

i'm pretty sure it has other stuff that he probably doesn't know about because those cars come w/ 300 HP to the crank. those are good numbers though

hell yea and one time it made 266hp and 268ft torque so im not really convinced those numbers are accurate and for some reason it kept downshifting by itself everytime they tried to make a run on tha dyno

It's an auto it's trying not to endanger it.

WTF? It downshifts because it is automatic, it is called passing gear, when you step on it too hard it will downshift automatically because you are going to pass in this case the comp. is seeing throttle position therefore making a downshift for more power.

No I thought he said upshifts. When you put my sis cobalt in low and get up to about 6 it upshifts that's where my conclusion came from.

well not really what happen is that big E 3rd gear endd at 80 and they were oing from 50, you kno how the auto shift to preserve gas, same case he idled the mph and rpm and it shifted, then when he slamed it, he went from 4th back to 3rd to gain its power, when he slamed it at 80 it couldnt downshift cuz it would be over its rpm, big E's gear ratio must be 1st to 40mph, 2nd and 3rd are from 40-80, and 4th to top out. thats what archie told me

5SPD AUTO no difference except the driver thats all, if you kno how to drive an auto you will out class a 5spd, if you kno how to drive a 5spd you out class an auto

Yeah that is true, don't know why everyone is so into 5spds. when you got all the power and suspension you want, then you really want to run certain ETs consistantly that's when you get a built auto, with transbrake, and stall. I hate my 5spd that is why I like my new POS 5.slowmatic. it will scream off the line with an AUTO while the 5spd is trying to feather the clutch to keep from spinning down the track!

I like a choice in an auto you can't go from 5th to 3rd by slamming on it You go to 4th.
