I need someone that is a bonafide mechanic and preferably has built some motors before. I want to go over my rebuild and have some tech questions answered. Even though I build my own motor, I still need some clarifications on things. So, if there is someone like this amongst us, please let me know.

What questions or doubts do you have about your build, and don't spam cockblock!

just about the bearings and what could possibly cause them to malfuntion. I had the rods fixed and a new crank balanced , and I bought all new bearings. It was making a sound just like it did the last 2 times when the bearings jacked up.  The block was honed, the rods fixed, and the crank balanced all by Kim Barr racing. I just am curious as to what else could possibly cause it to break down again. I know I put it together right, I am sure of that. The only reason that I had to rebuild it this last time is because I didn't know the rods were out of shape, so it ate up the crank and the bearings. I replaced all the seals, gaskets, etc and all bolts with each rebuild. What i really need is someone to drive the car and listen to what I am talking about. For some reason, it just feels like I am struggling to get the car into the powerband. Maybe that is due to the tune it has in it. I never accounted for the new cams, bigger heads, fuel injector upgrade, etc. The tune in it now is from before I did all this new work. The computer still thinks that the stock components are in it, and every single thing has been replaced and upgraded (see my list in the tech section)

If all your clearances were to specs than their should not be a problem with the build, I recommend you tune it first than go from there, if you still have problems I can call one of my old instructors he worked forDM, Lonestar and built alot 4.6 and has one bad ass cobra he built, his last name is Davis you might know him.
